Lamar Jackson Shines with Three Total TDs in Loss to Bills

Monday, September 8, 9:35 AM

Baltimore Ravens superstar Lamar Jackson played phenomenally on Sunday night against the Buffalo Bills, completing 14 of 19 passes for 209 yards, two passing touchdowns, and adding 70 yards on the ground on six rushing attempts and a rushing touchdown. Unfortunately for the Ravens, it wasn't enough to walk away with the victory as the Bills came from behind to win 41-40 in what was an epic battle of two AFC contenders. If Derrick Henry hadn't broken off long runs all night and totaled 169 rushing yards, Jackson's evening could have been more productive. A handful of the Ravens' drives were just three or four-play drives where Henry scored on 30-plus-yard touchdown runs. Regardless, Jackson remains a high-end QB1 for fantasy managers, and those who paid a premium to get him are already reaping the rewards. Next up for Jackson is a home game against the Cleveland Browns, where he remains a top option at the QB position.

Jayden Daniels News

Jayden Daniels Faces Stiffer Test Against Green Bay in Week 2

Wednesday, September 10, 2:37 PM

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels led his team to a 21-6 win in the home opener against the Giants. It was a solid yet sloppy day overall for Daniels and the Washington offense, with plenty still to clean up. He still racked up over 300 total yards and a touchdown against a good Giants defense. Daniels' floor is incredibly high for fantasy, with Lamar Jackson as the only player with more 20-point fantasy games since the start of last season. Now they face a quick turnaround with a Thursday night matchup against the Packers at Lambeau Field. In Week 1, the Packers' defense bottled up the Lions, last season's top-ranked offense. Detroit averaged just 3.8 yards per play and made life difficult for quarterback Jared Goff. He was sacked four times and threw one interception on the way to a 27-13 loss. The Packers completely shut off the Lions' run game, holding them to 2.1 yards per rush. Washington relied heavily on the ground attack against the Giants with 220 total rushing yards and 6.9 yards per carry. It projects to be one of the best games of the week with two top contenders in the NFC, and Daniels is a locked-and-loaded top 3 fantasy QB for Week 2.
