Mark Andrews Has High-End TE2 Value Against Dolphins

Thursday, October 30, 10:55 AM

Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews hasn't really been fantasy-relevant over the last three weeks. His best finish in that time has been TE20 in half-PPR formats, and the last time he put up double-digit fantasy points was in Week 3 against the Detroit Lions. A couple of things going in his favor this week are the return of Lamar Jackson and the fact that the Miami Dolphins are ranked 22nd against opposing tight ends. Having Jackson under center hasn't exactly made that much of a difference so far this season, as he had two points in the first two games. The biggest issue has been that the offensive line has been so terrible that they've needed Andrews to help block more often. Patrick Ricard's presence should help in this area, but until Andrews is more involved, he'll stick around the TE2 area with better options out there for fantasy managers.

Dallas Goedert Looks to Dominate Giants Once Again

Friday, October 24, 10:57 PM

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (calf) does not carry an injury designation on the Friday injury report. Goedert's touchdown streak finally came to an end last week after four straight games of scoring. It was an overall poor showing for Goedert, who had just three targets-his second-lowest in a game this season-amounting to three catches for 18 yards. However, on Sunday he's up against the Giants, who he torched in Week 6 for 110 yards on nine catches in his best performance yet. Now without A.J. Brown, it's fair to assume Goedert is in for another heavy workload against New York. The G-Men give up the 12th-least amount of fantasy points to tight ends this year, but that should be offset by Jalen Hurts' need to rely on a favorite weapon with another forced to the sidelines. Goedert is an enticing TE1 in Week 8.
