Marvin Harrison Jr. Out for Week 11 and "Possibly Longer" Due to Appendicitis

Wednesday, November 12, 11:59 AM

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. (appendix) underwent surgery for appendicitis and will be sidelined for "at least this week and possibly longer." It's a tough blow for the 23-year-old, who had recorded 10 catches for 129 yards and two touchdowns on 22 targets over the last two weeks. Harrison Jr. will now miss his team's Week 11 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, and it appears there's no guarantee he'll be back in Week 12 to face the Jacksonville Jaguars. Without Harrison Jr. on the field, Arizona tight end Trey McBride could see an even larger target share. Additionally, Cardinals wideout Michael Wilson could be in line for significantly more looks from quarterback Jacoby Brissett. Wilson saw a season-high seven targets in Week 10 and may be in for another target spike in Week 11.

Tetairoa McMillan News

Tetairoa McMillan was the Top Wide Receiver for the Panthers In Week 10

Monday, November 10, 12:29 PM

Tetairoa McMillan was the top wide receiver again for the Panthers in the 17-7 loss against New Orleans, but his numbers were only adequate. The rookie wide receiver totaled 60 yards on five receptions and registered 11 PPR fantasy points. This was the third time in five games in which McMillan posted double-digit PPR points. In Week 11, the Panthers are up against the Atlanta Falcons, who ranked eighth in Fantasy Points Per Game allowed to WRs entering Week 10. Atlanta also ranked 31st in FFPG allowed to RBs over the four weeks leading up to Week 10 and allowed 244 rushing yards to Jonathan Taylor on Sunday. With Atlanta being vulnerable to the run more than the passing game, expect the Panthers to rely on their ground game. Despite a run-first approach, fantasy players should continue to start McMillan, as he can provide a decent statistical floor in any week.
