Chicago Bears kicker Cairo Santos (thigh) has been ruled out for the Week 6 game on Monday night against the Washington Commanders. Santos drew a questionable tag on Saturday despite three full practices this week, and now he has been ruled out. The Bears elevated kicker Jake Moody from their practice squad to the active 53-man roster before the game, so he is in line to make his debut with Chicago on Monday Night Football. The 25-year-old Moody was cut by the San Francisco 49ers after going 1-for-3 in the season opener.
