Michael Pittman Jr. OK But Likely to be Held Out of Minicamp With Knee Injury

Thursday, June 5, 11:30 PM

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. (knee) had an initial injury scare in voluntary OTA practice on Thursday when he bumped knees with a defender, but he's expected to be OK, a source told FOX 59's Mike Chappell. Pittman is sore and expected to be fine, but he'll likely be held out of mandatory minicamp next week as a precaution. The initial thought was that the 27-year-old former second-round pick (34th overall) in 2020 out of USC was dealing with another back injury, which was something he battled through for the majority of the 2024 campaign. He should be ready to go for training camp this summer as he looks to bounce back from a 69-808-3 line in 16 games (14 starts) in 2024. Pittman still has WR2 upside, but as a possession receiver, his best-case scenario for fantasy upside in 2025 is if Daniel Jones wins the QB battle over Anthony Richardson (shoulder).

Bijan Robinson Eyeing More Explosive Runs in 2025

Wednesday, June 4, 2:38 PM

Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson had an impressive season of production in 2024, compiling 1,456 rushing yards and 14 rushing touchdowns to go along with 431 receiving yards and one score through the air. However, the former first-round pick out of Texas wants more explosive runs in 2025. "We're done with 30-yard runs and all that stuff," Robinson said. "Now it's time to get those 60 yards, 50 yards. So, I've been doing a lot more explosive drills. I've been doing a lot more running -- 100 yards, like sprinting." A season ago, Robinson ranked just 22nd in runs of 20-plus yards (five) despite ranking fourth in rushing attempts (304). If he can consistently add this element to his game and score on long touchdown runs, he could be this year's overall RB1 in fantasy football. Robinson is a clear first-round pick in all formats entering his third NFL campaign.
