Michael Pittman Jr. Returns to Practice

Thursday, July 31, 9:11 PM

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. (groin) returned to practice on Thursday, according to James Boyd of The Athletic. Pittman Jr. tweaked his groin during the team's training camp practice on Tuesday. The 27-year-old played 16 games through a fracture in his lower back in 2024, so he's surely hoping to get to the 2025 season as healthy as possible. Pittman Jr. finished last season with 69 catches for 808 yards and three touchdowns, each of which was his lowest total since his rookie season in 2020. He and third-year slot receiver Josh Downs are the top two target earners in the Colts' offense. Pittman Jr.'s fantasy viability depends heavily on the level of quarterback play Indianapolis can squeeze out of the combination of Anthony Richardson and Daniel Jones.

Cam Ward Says Titans Offense Has Been "Very Mid"

Wednesday, July 30, 3:42 PM

Tennessee Titans quarterback Cam Ward has struggled in the first two padded practices of training camp. The No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft out of Miami has been off-target and has thrown several interceptions during team periods. The 23-year-old said the team's offense has been "very mid" so far, but he did not deflect blame. "At the end of the day, it all starts with me," Ward said. "I just don't think we're where we need to be, but we've got a little bit of time." Rookie quarterbacks often struggle mightily early in their first NFL offseason, especially No. 1 overall picks with limited weapons. Ward is an interesting dynasty asset, but he's unlikely to be worth a firm roster spot in 12-team redraft leagues this season. Tennessee lacks proven playmakers behind Calvin Ridley, and plenty of growing pains are expected. Ward will kick off his regular-season career in Denver against one of the league's best defenses.
