Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans has put together back-to-back strong performances to open the season. The veteran wideout has hauled in 12 receptions for 237 yards and two touchdowns during the first two games of the season. The Bucs have targeted Evans heavy in the passing game and that is likely to continue going forward. Evans will now head into a matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3. A defensive unit that is normally solid, but has allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing wideouts this season. That being said, Evans should remain in the WR2 conversation for the upcoming Monday night matchup.

Los Angeles Chargers rookie wide receiver Quentin Johnston only made one catch in a 27-24 overtime loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 2. Johnston saw two targets, making the one catch for seven yards. The Chargers passing game spread the ball around to nine different targets, focusing on Keenan Allen and Mike Williams for eight catches each, not leaving much for any other pass catchers. Johnston has the talent to be a serious factor in the NFL, but fantasy managers will need to continue to be patient with him before they see consistent results.
