While some speculated Cincinnati might pursue names like Jameis Winston or even Kirk Cousins, the move signals confidence in Browning as the starter, with White brought in strictly as depth. From a fantasy perspective, White remains off the radar, but he profiles as the insurance option the Bengals want behind Browning.

While the signing won't directly impact fantasy managers, it could mean that Kyler Murray (foot), who is still questionable, won't be out there in Week 6 versus the Indianapolis Colts. However, it's still too early to speculate. If Murray ends up suiting up on Sunday, Slovis may still stick around as an emergency quarterback.
