Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth was shut down in Week 2 but will have a great opportunity to get back on track in a Week 3 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. Last week, Pittsburgh faced the Cleveland Browns, who were stout against fantasy tight ends in 2022. The Raiders, on the other hand, were much more friendly to the position last season and have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to tight ends so far in 2023. The Steelers' offense is difficult to trust right now, but Freiermuth has been a solid fantasy option in the past and should be viewed as a low-end TE1 for Sunday night's contest.

Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid caught both of his targets for three yards in Week 3's 37-3 dismantling of the Washington Commanders. The 23-year-old didn't do much on Sunday, manufacturing all his "production" in the first two quarters before Buffalo pulled away in the second half. It was a step back for Kincaid after putting forth ascending catch, target, and receiving totals in both of his first two games. Though, the rookie was hardly needed in a contest where Washington wasn't at all up to the task. The Bills should continue heavily deploying two-TE sets without a No. 3 wide receiver emerging through the opening weeks, even if it means Kincaid is splitting chances with veteran Dawson Knox. Buffalo might utilize the 2023 first-rounder as more of a receiving threat in Week 3's clash of the titans with the sizzling Miami Dolphins.
