Who Should I Start? Pat Freiermuth or Isaiah Likely

Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth caught all three of his targets for 33 yards in a Week 10 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. It remains difficult to predict weekly involvement for Pittsburgh's tight ends, but all of them could find success against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11. When these two teams met in Week 7, Freiermuth, Jonnu Smith, and Darnell Washington each found the end zone. The Bengals have allowed the most fantasy points and touchdowns to tight ends this season, and Freiermuth has historically torched them. In nine career games versus Cincinnati, he has totaled six touchdowns while averaging over seven targets, five receptions, and 66 yards per contest. Though far from a reliable fantasy starter, Freiermuth can be streamed in a pinch and considered in DFS lineups this Sunday.

Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely had a quiet game in his team's Week 10 win over the Minnesota Vikings, recording two catches for 17 yards. However, Likely saw a season-high five targets. In the two full games he has played with Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson this season, Likely has been targeted nine times, hauling in five catches for 77 yards. The presence of veteran tight end Mark Andrews in Baltimore limits Likely's playing-time upside, as he's played fewer than 59% of the Ravens' offensive snaps in each of their past three games. Still, Likely has proven he can be productive when Jackson is under center for Baltimore. Across 16 games with Jackson in 2024, Likely recorded 42 catches for 477 yards and six touchdowns on 58 targets. Heading into a Week 11 matchup against the Browns, Likely could be a decent stash candidate for fantasy managers to pick up off the waiver wire.
