Riley Moss Picks Up MCL Injury In Win Over Raiders

Sunday, November 24, 9:14 PM

Denver Broncos defensive back Riley Moss (knee) was forced from the team's 29-19 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 12 and did not return. The second-year DB registered four tackles before exiting the contest late in the first half. After the game, head coach Sean Payton noted that Moss sustained an MCL injury. Parker Gabriel of the Denver Post reports that Moss avoided a worst-case scenario, and there was some thought he could go back into the game. "We'll see where it's at," said Payton, referencing the 24-year-old's status. Heading into Week 12, the Iowa product had appeared in each game this season and led Denver's cornerbacks in snaps played. His status for Week 13's home tilt against the Cleveland Browns is unclear at this time. However, seeing him miss some practice time this week with the ailment wouldn't be shocking.

Jaylen Watson Active To Face Houston

Saturday, January 18, 3:12 PM

According to the team, Kansas City Chiefs defensive back Jaylen Watson (leg) is active for Saturday's playoff game against the Houston Texans. Watson has been sidelined since suffering a fractured fibula during their Week 7 victory over the San Francisco 49ers. Watson was able to log three straight full practice sessions leading up to this game suggesting he will be a full go in this contest. During the first six games of the season, Watson tallied 29 tackles (19 solo) with ten assists and six deflections. Fantasy managers should expect Watson to have a key role in this contest as the Chiefs begin their playoff march.
