The Washington Commanders are signing veteran wide receiver Robbie Chosen to their practice squad on Tuesday, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Chosen will give Washington some more receiver depth going into Week 5 against the Los Angeles Chargers, with both Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Noah Brown (groin, knee) up in the air to play this weekend. The 32-year-old pass-catcher failed to stick around with the San Francisco 49ers despite all their injured bodies, and he might not stick around for long if McLaurin and Brown can return soon. Chosen, a nine-year NFL veteran, has bounced around the league in recent years and has played in only 11 games the last two years with the Miami Dolphins, catching five of 10 targets for 131 yards and one touchdown. Second-year wideout Luke McCaffrey has benefited the most the last two weeks with McLaurin injured.

Terrace Marshall Jr. has joined the Philadelphia Eagles' practice squad following a series of roster moves this preseason. Marshall showed some promise this preseason with seven receptions for 66 yards, and this move provides the Eagles with a low-risk depth option. The former second-round pick out of LSU has dealt with injuries and inconsistency throughout his career. Since entering the league in 2021 with the Carolina Panthers, he has not fully lived up to his potential, recording just 67 career receptions for 808 yards and one touchdown. Marshall is mainly a stash in deep dynasty formats for now.
