Sam Darnold News
Thursday, June 4, 9:23 AM
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold lacks significant dynasty upside because of his limited mobility, but the presence of superstar wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba does give his outlook a boost. Throwing the ball to the NFL's Offensive Player of the Year last season, Darnold racked up 4,048 passing yards, 25 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions, as well as six lost fumbles. He finished the year as the QB13, one year after ranking as the QB9 with the Vikings. Darnold has had the fortune of playing with elite receivers each of the last two seasons, and it has resulted in low-end QB1 or high-end QB2 results. Therefore, as long as he continues to have Smith-Njigba at his disposal, the 28-year-old ranks as a mid-to-high QB2 in fantasy football. Managers would like to see him cut down on turnovers next year, but we do expect to see his touchdown total increase slightly. Darnold currently ranks as the QB23 in RotoBaller's latest dynasty fantasy football rankings.

Daniel Jones News
Tuesday, June 2, 5:13 AM
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones was cleared to participate in 7-on-7 drills on Monday as he continues to work his way back from the torn right Achilles that ended his 2025 season in December. Jones has been throwing throughout organized team activities, but progressing to 7-on-7 work is a significant milestone in his recovery and puts him one step closer to participating in full-team drills. Prior to the Week 14 injury, Jones was the fantasy QB7 in his first season with the Colts. With the team's leading target-earner from each of the past five seasons, Michael Pittman Jr., traded to Pittsburgh this offseason, big things are expected of wide receivers Alec Pierce and Josh Downs and tight end Tyler Warren, though that obviously hinges on the health and availability of Jones. Behind him on the depth chart are Anthony Richardson and Riley Leonard, but head coach Shane Steichen has suggested that Jones could take part in full-team workouts by the start of training camp with a goal of having him ready for Week 1.
