Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold has put himself on the fringes of the MVP conversation with the way he has played so far in 2025. Through eight games, the 28-year-old has completed 70.4% of his pass attempts for 2,084 yards, 16 touchdowns, and five interceptions. Darnold is only averaging 27 pass attempts per game, but he's logged a league-leading 9.6 yards per pass attempt. Darnold has recorded at least 295 passing yards in each of his last four starts and has thrown 11 touchdown passes over that stretch. He's a must-start player in two-quarterback fantasy formats, and Darnold deserves starting consideration in single-QB leagues with 12 or more teams as well. Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson completed 18 of his 23 pass attempts for 204 yards, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions during Thursday's Week 9 win over the Miami Dolphins. He also rushed for 14 yards. Jackson returned from a multi-week absence caused by a hamstring injury, and he picked up right where he left off. The star quarterback didn't rush as much as he usually does, but he continued to demonstrate impressive accuracy while turning in his second four-touchdown game of the season. Jackson now has 15 touchdowns and just two turnovers through five games. He remains a high-end QB1 heading into next week's clash with the Minnesota Vikings.
