The New York Jets will not be inquiring with retired quarterback Tom Brady about any interest in a return to football after Aaron Rodgers suffered a season-ending torn left Achilles on Monday night in the win over the Buffalo Bills, according to sources. Brady has also made it clear to people close to him that his playing days are officially over. That puts an end to those with hopes that we'd see the GOAT back in a football uniform in 2023. Rodgers' injury has thrust Zach Wilson back into a starting role, and Tim Boyle is the only other signal-caller on the team's roster, so they'll surely be looking to bring in another QB to give them more depth. It just won't be the best quarterback to ever play the game.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley (hamstring) returned to practice on Monday after missing all of last week. It's a good sign that Huntley rejoined the team to begin the week heading into the regular season opener in Week 1 on Sunday against the Houston Texans, but he's still not a lock to be active as Lamar Jackson's backup. The 25-year-old obviously won't be fantasy relevant as long as Jackson is healthy. If Huntley isn't cleared for the first week of the 2023 regular season, veteran journeyman Josh Johnson will serve as Jackson's backup in Week 1 against the Texans.
