Who Should I Start? Tony Pollard or Jonathan Taylor

Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard remains the primary ball-carrier on his team, but he's still tough to trust heading into Week 12 against the Seattle Seahawks. He's averaging just 3.7 yards per carry over his last five games and faces off against a Seattle run defense allowing the third-fewest rushing yards to opposing running backs in 2025. To make matters worse, Pollard has started to see his workload decline with Tyjae Spears back in action, tallying 11 or fewer carries in each of his last five contests. If Pollard came into this tough matchup with greater efficiency or a larger workload, managers could still feel comfortable deploying him in lineups. Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor carried the ball 16 times for 58 yards and caught two of his three targets for eight yards in a 23-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in overtime in Week 12. In a rare feat, the Chiefs held Taylor out of the end zone for just the third time all season. On the bright side, Taylor continues to dominate the backfield work in Indy as no other running back logged a carry in the close loss to the Chiefs. Taylor has rushed for 1,197 yards and has 17 all-purpose touchdowns in 11 games this season. In Week 13, he will take on a quality Houston Texans defense at home.
