Travis Etienne Jr. News

Travis Etienne Jr. Has a Touchdown Vultured by Teammate in Overtime Loss

Sunday, September 13, 1:52 PM

New Orleans Saints running back Travis Etienne Jr. rushed for 46 yards on nine carries during Sunday's Week 1 overtime loss against the Detroit Lions. He also caught seven of his nine targets for an additional 32 receiving yards. The receiving volume helped Etienne salvage his fantasy performance in half-PPR and full-PPR leagues, but otherwise, it was a frustrating game for fantasy managers. Notably, Etienne split touches with Kendre Miller, as both had nine carries. Very few people would have predicted that the Saints would go with an even split between Etienne, who was just paid $48 million, and Miller. Furthermore, Miller vultured a goal-line touchdown from Etienne. We'll want to get a few more games in the sample before we can confidently say that Etienne will consistently share touches going forward, but it appears to be headed in that direction. For now, he'll drop to the low-end RB2 tier in half-PPR and full-PPR leagues for Week 2 against the Baltimore Ravens.

Trey McBride News

Trey McBride Kicks Off TE1 Campaign On Sunday

Saturday, September 12, 6:10 AM

Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride's success in 2025 made him not only the most productive player at his position, but one of the top receivers overall. McBride's 1,239 receiving yards ranked sixth in the NFL, and his 126 receptions trailed only league-leader Puka Nacua's 129. With Michael Wilson's rise in 2025 and Marvin Harrison Jr. healthy to start 2026, McBride might not reach the same season-long heights that he did last year, but he will still operate as Arizona's primary receiver and be a top option at tight end every week. His first game to make a mark is coming on Sunday against the Chargers. Los Angeles gave up the fifth-fewest fantasy points to tight ends in 2025, but McBride's role in the Cardinals' offense makes him a must-start in Week 1.
