Tyler Higbee, Rob Havenstein To Return In 2025

Monday, March 3, 6:15 PM

Los Angeles Rams veteran tight end Tyler Higbee and veteran right tackle Rob Havenstein will both be back with the team in 2025, according to head coach Sean McVay. There were questions as to whether the Rams would keep either player after coming off recent injuries and heading into the last year of their respective deals. Even though Havenstein is expected to be back, The Athletic's Jourdan Rodriguez expects the Rams to target a right tackle in the upcoming NFL draft. Higbee, 32, had surgery on his knee and shoulder last offseason that forced him to miss all but three of the team's regular-season games in 2024. In his three games, he caught eight of 12 targets for 66 yards and two touchdowns and added 12 catches on 15 targets for 112 yards and a TD in two playoff games. With receiver Cooper Kupp likely to be traded this offseason, Higbee could be a sleeper TE to target in fantasy this fall.

Bills Put Dawson Knox on NFI List

Tuesday, July 22, 5:40 PM

The Buffalo Bills placed tight end Dawson Knox (undisclosed) on the Non-Football Injury list on Tuesday, per KPRC's Aaron Wilson. It's unclear exactly what Knox is dealing with, but he will not be on the field with the rest of the Bills players for the start of training camp this week. The 28-year-old was a first-time Pro Bowler in 2022, but that was before Dalton Kincaid entered the mix. In the last two seasons, Knox has been more of an afterthought in Buffalo's offense, catching 44 of his 69 targets for 497 yards and three touchdowns in 28 regular-season games (24 starts). He was better last year than he was in 2023, but Kincaid is likely to see more targets from quarterback Josh Allen if he's healthy going forward. When healthy, Knox will continue to see playing time, but he probably won't be a realistic TE1 unless Kincaid misses time with an injury.
