Zach Charbonnet is Not Expected to Play in Week 6

Seattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet (knee) is not expected to play during the Week 6 matchup against the Denver Broncos, per Corbin K. Smith. Head coach Mike Macdonald said it would be tricky for Charbonnet to be ready in time for Thursday's game. Charbonnet returned to practice late last week, but he was only able to get through limited practice sessions. It sounds like the Seahawks will have him sit out one more game before he makes his season debut in Week 7 against the Kansas City Chiefs. His absence would mean that Emanuel Wilson draws at least one more start. He rushed for 61 yards and scored a touchdown in Week 5. It seems like fantasy managers will need to wait until Week 7 before Charbonnet is unleashed.

New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo is expected to handle an "extremely heavy workload" in Week 5 against the Washington Commanders, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network. Garafolo noted that heavy rain is expected to fall throughout this game, prompting the Giants to place more emphasis on their rushing attack, led by Skattebo. We're confident that the young, physical running back can handle the large role, as he has emerged as a potential every-down weapon for the Giants. After all, he logged 23 touches back in Week 3 and another 19 touches last Sunday. His average of 3.5 yards per carry isn't great, but if he can find the end zone or continue to carve out a sizable receiving role, he'll be able to contribute as a high-end RB2 in fantasy football.
