Zach Charbonnet Named Team Captain For Week 2

Saturday, September 13, 11:44 AM

The Seattle Seahawks have named running back Zach Charbonnet a team captain for Week 2's matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The third-year back handled 12 carries for 47 yards and a touchdown in Seattle's 17-13 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Charbonnet was one of the biggest fantasy talking points from Week 1 after out-snapping and outproducing Kenneth Walker III, fueling speculation about a changing of the guard in the Seahawks' backfield. Reports before the opener suggested Charbonnet would be "more involved" this season, and his captain designation could be another sign of his growing role.

Cam Skattebo Is A Wait-and-See Fantasy Player

Saturday, September 13, 2:00 AM

New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo is not a recommended fantasy start for Week 2, despite facing a favorable matchup. Skattebo was the RB58 in Week 1, with a minimal role, receiving only two carries for -3 yards and two receptions for 12 yards, totaling just 1.9 fantasy points on an 11.8% timeshare. While the Dallas Cowboys' defense was the 23rd-ranked fantasy defense against running backs in 2024 and gave up 158 rushing yards in Week 1, Skattebo is simply not seeing the volume to capitalize on the opportunity. His primary role appears to be as a depth and short-yardage option behind Tyrone Tracy Jr., which severely caps his fantasy upside.
