Value – Matt Ryan ($5900) – Atlanta Falcons
Matt Ryan has had a very up and down season in 2020, going from massive statistical games (371 yards and 4 touchdowns) to astronomically bad outings (232 yards and 2 interceptions) multiple times. Just when you finally bench him for poor play, he goes off…and vice versa.
This week the Falcons take on the Raiders, who currently give up the 5th most yards per game to the QB position (279). Obviously the Falcons’ defense isn’t much better (2nd most yards per game), so this one could be a shootout. QB David Carr isn’t known for throwing for a ton of yards, which is why I pivoted to Ryan. Ryan has the skills, experience, and weapons to perform well, so pray they hit the over (55.5) and you should be happy with the outcome.
