Quarterback: Kirk Cousins ($7,700) at Detroit Lions
Did you know Kirk Cousins has had a fumble lost in six straight games? That doesn't really help my argument here but I'm simply astounded by his averageness. Anyway, for better or worse, your best value play this week is Kirk Cousins. If anything, that should probably tell you to pay up at the position, but if you need to go cheap, he's your guy for two reasons. One is the Lions truly pathetic pass defense, and the other is Dalvin Cook being out this week. I'd guess that the Vikings are going to allow Justin Jefferson to go all out for the offensive rookie of the year award, so stacking Cousins with him makes a lot of sense.
