Strategy 1: Mid-Range Running Back
While Christian McCaffrey looks enticing with a matchup against the Raiders in Week 1, FanDuel’s pricing sets up well target mid-range running backs. Not only will this strategy provide leverage against the heavily owned McCaffrey, but a few bell-cows remain severely underpriced.
In particular, Miles Sanders enters Week 1 with a $6,800 price tag and a matchup against the Washington Football Team. While Sanders did suffer a training camp injury, all indications point to him suiting up in Week 1. With Jordan Howard vacating 150 carries, Sanders looks likely to handle a sizeable workload throughout the year.
