Last week we got clarity on several player's futures around the league. Specifically, Joe Mixon, Dalvin Cook, Alvin Kamara, and Cooper Kupp all signed big contract extensions and will be staying on their respective teams for their foreseeable future. In a day and age when running backs are seen as interchangeable, this is a huge win for the dynasty owners of these players, specifically the running backs, as this amounts to huge draft capital investments in each player. Cook and Kamara owners should be especially ecstatic as they stay in extremely favorable positions as number ones in functioning offenses. And while I wouldn't go that far to call Cincinnati a functional offense, but there is a promising core-forming for Mixon.
