Wide Receiver Fast Starts We covered Ja'Marr Chase setting the world on fire last week, but the other player who has been absolutely untouchable in the wide receiver group is Cooper Kupp. The combination of finally having a quarterback who can hit him downfield, along with his rise in target share over fellow wide receiver Robert Woods, has led to a massive breakout for the wide receiver. Kupp is at a ridiculous 63-924-10 over 8 games, far outpacing at every other player at the position. Can this fast start be maintained? I think not, but Kupp is a top asset for the rest of the 2021 season. Long term? I caution you about overreacting to one season like this. I think with Stafford in tow, he will continue to be a top 20 WR asset, but likely returns to his PPR high floor, low ceiling that we are accustomed to.
