Travis Etienne – Clemson (CBS ranked 21st overall, 1st RB)
Travis Etienne has been a major role player for Clemson since he arrived in 2017, including sophomore and junior years where he rushed for over 1600 yards each. He did return for his senior year, and unfortunately had a much quieter 914 yard, 14 touchdown season. He finished his Clemson career with 70 touchdowns on the ground.
Etienne expanded his pass-catching role the past two seasons, going from 12 catches for 78 yards in 2018 to 37 catches for 432 yards in 2019. He further increased his pass-catching in his senior year, catching 48 passes for 588 yards.
Etienne is considered the top RB of the draft class and has the accolades to go along with that status. Etienne won numerous ACC Player of the Year awards, won a National Championship, and is the record owner in the ACC for most Rushing Yards, Rushing Touchdowns, Total Touchdowns, and Total Points.
Etienne will probably be in direct competition with our next rookie RB for being the 1st RB off the board.
