The 26-year-old has hauled in six of his nine targets for 115 receiving yards and has seen over an 80 percent snap percentage during that stretch. However, Tremayne likely saw his role increase because Jalen Coker missed time with a quad injury. Coker is set to return to action in Week 6 and will cut into Tremayne's workload. Tremayne enters Week 6 as RotoBaller's PPR WR81 in a matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles defense has been thrown on the seventh-most and allowed the 11th-most receiving yards this season. Tremayne should be out of lineups because of a tough defensive matchup and more target competition for Week 6.

Brycen Tremayne Worth Watching Amidst Panthers' WR Injuries

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Brycen Tremayne came out of nowhere on Sunday in the team's Week 3 loss to the Cleveland Browns, catching four of his six targets for 83 yards after not commanding a single target through the first two weeks of the 2026 season. The reason for the 26-year-old's increased involvement in Cleveland primarily had to do with Xavier Legette being inactive due to a shoulder injury. On top of that, WR2 Jalen Coker suffered a quadriceps injury in the 21-18 loss and ended up playing only 36% of the offensive snaps. Tremayne, a former undrafted free agent from Stanford, played 81% of the offensive snaps, second only to Tetairoa McMillan. It was a nice game for Tremayne, but Coker's quad injury is deemed minor, so both he and Legette could return to action for the Week 4 tilt on Sunday night at home against the Detroit Lions. In his first two years in the NFL with Carolina and the Washington Commanders, Tremayne had only 15 catches on 19 targets for 158 yards and zero touchdowns in 18 games played. At best, he is a speculative stash in the deepest of leagues in case Coker or Legette are forced to miss time.

Panthers "Bullish" on Brycen Tremayne

The Carolina Panthers are "bullish" on wide receiver Brycen Tremayne, according to Joseph Person of The Athletic. Tremayne went undrafted out of Stanford in 2023 and appeared in two games for the Washington Commanders in 2024, but he was able to crack Carolina's 53-man roster out of training camp. The Panthers traded veteran wide receiver Adam Thielen to the Minnesota Vikings on Wednesday, so Tremayne could now be one of the players Carolina calls upon to replace Thielen's production. The 25-year-old will open the season behind Tetairoa McMillan, Jalen Coker, and Xavier Legette in the team's wide receiver pecking order, leaving him to battle with David Moore and Jimmy Horn Jr. for the WR4 role in Carolina.

Panthers Sign Brycen Tremayne To Futures Deal

The Carolina Panthers signed former Washington Commanders wide receiver Brycen Tremayne to a Reserve/Futures deal on Tuesday, according to Panthers beat writer Darin Gantt. Tremayne went undrafted out of college at Stanford but was eventually picked up by the Commanders. He made his NFL debut with Washington in 2024 and was active in two games, catching his only target for a loss of two yards. The 25-year-old pass-catcher spent most of his time in D.C. the last two seasons toiling on the Commanders' practice squad. The 6-foot-4, 212-pounder will now continue his development with the Panthers this offseason and will be hoping to win a spot on the active 53-man roster for Week 1 by impressing Carolina's coaching staff in training camp this summer.
