Charlie Kolar Looks to Extend Touchdown Streak in Week 10

Baltimore Ravens tight end Charlie Kolar has scored a touchdown in two consecutive games, and he'll look to extend that streak in Week 10 against the Minnesota Vikings. The 26-year-old is averaging just 0.8 catches per game this season, but he has three receptions and two touchdowns in his last two contests. The biggest obstacle between Kolar and a three-week touchdown streak is his role on the depth chart. He remains stuck behind productive tight ends Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely. While Kolar has been able to get on the field for more than one-third of the snaps in each of the last four weeks, Lamar Jackson still prefers throwing to Andrews and Likely. Therefore, Kolar scoring a touchdown in Week 10 is far from a lock. He can be left on waivers in all fantasy leagues.

Charlie Kolar Finds the End Zone for a Second Consecutive Week

Baltimore Ravens tight end Charlie Kolar caught two passes for 23 yards and a touchdown during Thursday's Week 9 victory over the Miami Dolphins. The 26-year-old has now scored in back-to-back games, earning himself a larger role alongside established tight ends Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely. While Kolar is clearly third on the depth chart, he should continue to handle more opportunities in the passing game, especially if he continues to score touchdowns. His snap share has already started to increase, as he played 46.4 percent of the offensive snaps Thursday. He was on the field for just two fewer plays than Andrews and five fewer plays than Likely, which isn't exactly a very sizable margin. Kolar isn't a fantasy threat, but he'll continue to be a thorn in the side of Andrews' and Likely's fantasy managers.

Charlie Kolar Questionable to Return

According to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic, Baltimore Ravens tight end Charlie Kolar (arm) is questionable to return to Sunday's playoff game against the Buffalo Bills. The tight end sustained this injury during the second half. Before exiting, Kolar did not see a target in the passing game but did log one tackle on special teams. Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely will continue operating as the top tight ends for Baltimore.

Charlie Kolar A Full-Go On Tuesday

Baltimore Ravens tight end Charlie Kolar (forearm) was a full participant during Tuesday's practice session. Kolar was designated to return from the injured reserve on Monday after missing the last four games due to a fractured forearm. The fact Kolar was able to get through a full session on Tuesday is good news ahead of Saturday's game against the Cleveland Browns. The organization is hopeful that Kolar will be available for the regular season finale. There probably won't be much fantasy value from him given he's the third string back, but Kolar is solid depth at the tight end spot.

Charlie Kolar Hopeful To Return In Week 18

Baltimore Ravens tight end Charlie Kolar (arm) has been designated to return from the injured reserve on Monday. Kolar has missed the last four games after fracturing his forearm in Week 12. The team will evaluate his progress in practice, but Kolar is hopeful to get back on the field this weekend. If active, Kolar will serve as the third tight end for Saturday's game against the Cleveland Browns. Kolar wasn't bringing much to the table before the injury. He has one reception or less in every game besides one this season. He won't offer much fantasy value, but having him would provide depth at the position.

Charlie Kolar Placed On Injured Reserve

Baltimore Ravens tight end Charlie Kolar (arm) has been placed on the injured reserve on Saturday. As expected, Kolar is going to miss significant time after breaking his arm during last week's win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Kolar has a chance to return before the end of the regular season, but we'll wait and see how he progresses. The absence of Kolar won't mean too much for this offense going forward. It should mean a few more snaps for Isaiah Likely and Mark Andrews down the stretch of the season, but should only give some a slight uptick in value.

Charlie Kolar To Miss Four Weeks

Baltimore Ravens tight end Charlie Kolar (forearm) is expected to miss at least four weeks after breaking his arm on Monday night. Kolar has been an important depth piece in a talented Ravens tight end room. He has recorded nine receptions for 131 yards and a touchdown for the Ravens this season while playing behind Isaiah Likely and Mark Andrews. This injury puts more pressure on Likely and Andrews as the team's top two tight ends. As a result, the Ravens will likely make a move to bolster their depth. Kolar's injury does not have a lot of fantasy implications. However, he is one less target for Likely and Andrews to compete within this offense.

Charlie Kolar Finds The End Zone Against Bengals

Baltimore Ravens tight end Charlie Kolar scored the second touchdown of his career in the overtime win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. The third-stringer registered three receptions for 64 yards and a touchdown on four targets. He was the second-most targeted tight end in this game with Mark Andrews getting five and Isaiah Likely getting three. Kolar normally serves as a blocking tight end in big packages, but he had a big part in the passing game in this one. He even had the longest play for the Ravens on a 55-yard catch-and-run. Fantasy managers with stock in any of the Ravens' tight ends will continue to see frustrating usage if Kolar gets thrown into the passing game more often.

Charlie Kolar Adds Bulk In Offseason

Baltimore Ravens tight end Charlie Kolar added some bulk to his frame this offseason, and head coach John Harbaugh said this offseason that he'd like to see Kolar continue to become a more developed blocker. Kolar looks ready to take on that role, which is extremely important for an offense that relies so much on punishing opposing defenses on the ground. The 25-year-old tight end showed progress in his second year in the NFL in 2023, but that still amounted to only seven receptions for 87 yards and a touchdown on nine targets, even with top tight end Mark Andrews missing time with a leg injury. Behind both Andrews and Isiah Likely and because he's primarily a blocking-first tight end, Kolar should remain well off the fantasy radar in 2024.

Looks good in first extended action
