Darius Cooper Back to Low Usage Heading Into Week 17

Philadelphia Eagles rookie wide receiver Darius Cooper did not record any statistics in his most recent game against the Commanders after having receptions in his previous two contests. Cooper also saw his offensive snap count percentage drop to below 20% for the first time since Week 11. The first-year undrafted wideout has failed to explode onto the scene, but given the talent surrounding him it was always going to be an unrealistic expectation for him to have much of a contribution. He has not carved out a real role on this offensive unit yet, and is not suited for fantasy lineups for his Week 17 game against the Bills.

Darius Cooper Coming Off of Career-Best Performance

Philadelphia Eagles rookie wide receiver Darius Cooper has now recorded at least one catch in consecutive games for the first time in his career. His two catches for 29 yards came on Philly's last drive of the game, where Cooper got some more time to shine thanks to the starters sitting out. So, he still seems a long ways away from being a viable option in the first team, but the fact that he's getting time on the field and catching all of his targets are definitely positives for the undrafted youngster. While he's trending in the right direction, it's still not enough for him to be in fantasy lineups this week as he faces the Commanders.

Darius Cooper Back on Stat Sheet, But Not Reliable Yet

Philadelphia Eagles rookie wide receiver Darius Cooper logged his second-most snaps in a single game last week, as he was on the field for 21 offensive plays-29.6% of total opportunities. The increased action allowed for Cooper to haul in his third career catch-a 19-yard gain in the fourth quarter. After failing to record any statistics through the first 10 weeks of the season, the undrafted wideout has now found himself in the box score twice in the past three weeks. While it's encouraging for him to step up a bit recently, he's still too far down the depth chart in an offense that's already not very WR-dependent. Cooper shouldn't be in fantasy lineups for his upcoming game against the Raiders, but hopefully some more chances are in store for him on the horizon.

Darius Cooper Trying to Get Back on Stat Sheet in Week 14

Philadelphia Eagles rookie wide receiver Darius Cooper achieved his second-highest snap percentage of the season last week against the Bears, seeing 24.1% of offensive plays. This is the first time in his career that he's played over 20% in consecutive games. Unfortunately, Cooper came back down to earth after his two-catch outing against the Cowboys, and was unable to record any stats against Chicago. It is interesting to see the undrafted rookie get some more opportunities, and with fellow WR Jahan Dotson (toe) being limited at the last two practices, Cooper's number could be called even more this week against the Chargers. However, he'll still be behind star wideouts A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, and he has a lot more work to do to prove himself as a consistent option on this offense. Cooper is still not ready to be rostered in fantasy.

Darius Cooper Looking to Build Off of First Career Catches

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Darius Cooper recorded his first career stats this past week against the Dallas Cowboys, catching both of his targets for a total of seven yards. The undrafted rookie had his second-most snaps in a game this season, being on the field for 13 offensive plays. While these still aren't numbers that jump off the stat sheet, it does show that Cooper has the potential to see some more looks over the course of the final six games of the regular season. He's played with the first team and has some trust from Jalen Hurts. And now with DeVonta Smith on the injury report, this could be the perfect storm for Cooper to show more of what he has to offer. Hopes shouldn't get too high, as he's still not worthy of a fantasy roster spot, but it will be interesting to watch how Cooper gets involved the rest of the way.

Darius Cooper's Usage Sees a Dip

Philadelphia Eagles rookie wide receiver Darius Cooper last week logged his lowest snap count since returning from injury, getting on the field for just three plays against the Detroit Lions. Now past the halfway mark of the season, it's seeming more and more likely that Cooper will not see any catches before the 2025 campaign has ended. Even when the receivers above him on the depth chart have been sidelined or had rough games, Cooper has not gotten his opportunities. He should continue to be left off of fantasy rosters as Philly faces the Cowboys this weekend.

Darius Cooper Searching for First Career Catch Against Detroit

Philadelphia Eagles rookie wide receiver Darius Cooper (shoulder) was listed as a full practice participant on Friday's injury report and appears to be good to go for Sunday's game against the Lions. Cooper saw his snap count decrease from a career-high 26 down to 11 between his last two games, and once again failed to get any targets in his most recent showing against the Packers. Philly has not turned to their first-year undrafted rookie yet and has plenty of preferred weapons in front of him. Cooper is still best left off of rosters until he proves to have any worth in fantasy.

Darius Cooper Not on Stat Sheet Even with Increased Role

Philadelphia Eagles rookie wide receiver Darius Cooper saw his highest usage of his career so far and his first playing time since Week 3 in Philly's last game against the Giants. When Philly hosted New York, Cooper played 26 snaps, being on the field for 44.1% of offensive plays. His previous highest was 12 snaps on 20% of plays back in Week 2. Cooper was also close to having the first target of his career on a third quarter pass, but the play was negated by a pass interference, stopping him from recording his first stat. Even with A.J. Brown missing the contest, Cooper was unable to get involved. He's still unworthy of a bench spot on fantasy teams.

Darius Cooper Active in Week 8

Philadelphia Eagles rookie wide receiver Darius Cooper (shoulder) is active for Sunday's contest against the New York Giants. Cooper has been sidelined since suffering this shoulder injury in Week 3 during their contest against the Rams. The undrafted rookie out of Tarleton State has yet to catch a pass in his debut campaign, but could be in store for a larger role this afternoon with top wide receiver A.J. Brown (hamstring) inactive. During the first three games, Cooper logged just 20 total snaps, with the majority of them coming in Week 2. He should not be targeted in any DFS competitions this afternoon, given his minimal role in the offense.

Darius Cooper Questionable to Return After IR Stint

Philadelphia Eagles rookie wide receiver Darius Cooper (shoulder) is listed as questionable going into the weekend after being on injured reserve for the last four games. It could be perfect timing for Cooper, as star receiver A.J. Brown will not play Sunday due to a hamstring injury. He has played just 20 snaps in the three games he was healthy for, so expectations should be set pretty low, especially coming off of an injury. He might get some more opportunities, but Cooper is too much of a long shot to be in fantasy lineups in Week 8, even if he's able to play.

Darius Cooper Continues to See Little Action

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Darius Cooper did not record any stats in a 33-26 win over the Los Angeles Rams. Cooper also saw a decrease in snaps, being on the field for only six offensive plays in Week 3 after playing 12 the previous game. The undrafted rookie will have to wait another week before hopefully making his first catch of the season. Cooper is still not an option for fantasy lineups as he lines up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Sunday.

Darius Cooper Involved More, But Not Enough

Eagles rookie wideout Darius Cooper failed to achieve any targets once again in Philadelphia's Week 2 game against the Chiefs. However, Cooper did manage to see an increase in snaps, appearing in 12 offensive plays against Kansas City compared to the two he played versus the Cowboys. That could also be chalked up to the absence of starting tight end Dallas Goedert. Until he begins seeing any sort of consistent playing time, Cooper continues to be unreliable in fantasy.

Darius Cooper Still Buried In Depth Chart

Philadelphia Eagles rookie wide receiver Darius Cooper failed to get any targets in the opening game of the season against the Cowboys. While Cooper did have a solid preseason showing against the Bengals, he was bound to struggle for looks in the regular season with the amount of talent surrounding him. He is currently listed as the fifth wideout on the Philly depth chart and was on the field for only two offensive snaps in Week 1. In an upcoming faceoff against the Chiefs, this undrafted rookie will likely have a similar workload. Cooper isn't worth looking at in fantasy for Week 2.
