Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton (ankle) injured his right ankle in the second quarter and will not return in the second half. Hamilton stepped awkwardly with his right foot and went down in a heap before leaving the field under his own power. He went to the locker room to undergo X-rays and won't return for the rest of the game. Until we have the results of the X-rays, we won't have a great idea on how much time the 23-year-old defensive back might miss. Hamilton is one of the best all-around safeties in the NFL, though, so any time he's forced to miss will be significant for a Ravens secondary that has really struggled in 2024. The former 14th overall pick back in 2022 out of Notre Dame was a first-time Pro Bowler in his second season in 2023 and came into Thursday's game with 67 tackles (48 solo), two sacks and five pass breakups in nine games.

Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton (ankle) tweaked his right ankle in the second quarter of Thursday night's divisional game against the Cincinnati Bengals and is questionable to return. One of the best all-around safeties in the game stepped awkwardly with his right foot to cause his ankle injury and was immediately taken to the blue medical tent on the sidelines before eventually being taken to the locker room to undergo X-rays. The injury didn't look good for the 23-year-old, who immediately melted to the ground and did not move, although he was able to walk off the field under his own power. Before departing, Hamilton had four tackles (two solo) and two passes defensed. When healthy, he's an every-week, must-start defensive back in IDP fantasy leagues. Eddie Jackson could finish out the game in Hamilton's place if he cannot return.

Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton (back) and Nate Wiggins (concussion, neck) were back on the practice field on Thursday after missing practice on Wednesday. Hamilton sat out with a back injury, while Wiggins was absent after missing the Week 2 game against the Las Vegas Raiders following a car accident. Wiggins was seen wearing a red non-contact jersey at practice. Baltimore will need its secondary to get back to health in a matchup against Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, and the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3. The Ravens rank dead last in passing yards allowed per game (257.0) through two weeks.

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said that safety Kyle Hamilton (knee) is dealing with a minor knee sprain and is "good" after getting injured in Sunday's training camp practice. Hamilton might miss a bit of practice time this week as a result, but he appears to have avoided a significant knee injury and should be ready to go to kick off the 2024 regular season on Thursday Night Football against the defending Super Bowl-champion Kansas City Chiefs in early September. The 23-year-old former 14th overall pick in 2022 out of Notre Dame will be one of the first defensive backs to come off the board in IDP fantasy leagues after he produced 81 tackles (63 solo), three sacks, 10 tackles for loss, four interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), 13 pass breakups and a forced fumble in 15 regular-season starts in 2023 to earn All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors.

Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton (leg) was forced to exit early during practice on Sunday. The young safety suffered a leg injury, but head coach John Harbaugh said that Hamilton looks stable. Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton (knee) was estimated as a limited participant in practice on Tuesday as his team began preparing for their Saturday matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Hamilton missed his team's Week 17 win over the Miami Dolphins with a knee issue but appears to be trending in a positive direction as the Ravens prepare to take on their divisional rivals in the regular-season finale. That being said, Baltimore already has the No. 1 seed in the AFC wrapped up so they could opt to hold one of their defensive stars out of action this weekend.

Baltimore Ravens strong safety Kyle Hamilton (knee), who was listed as questionable, has officially been ruled out of Sunday's AFC clash against the visiting Miami Dolphins. Hamilton returned to the practice field on Thursday with a limited session but then did not practice on Friday, setting the stage for him to be inactive this weekend. Not having the 22-year-old in the secondary in Week 17 is a big loss for the Ravens defense as they look to slow down the top-scoring offense in the NFL. The good news is the Dolphins will be without No. 2 receiver Jaylen Waddle (ankle), but slowing down Tyreek Hill will be another task in itself. With Hamilton sidelined for this one, expect Daryl Worley to start at strong safety for Baltimore.

Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton (knee) is unsure whether he'll play in Sunday's big Week 17 game against the Miami Dolphins. "It's day by day. I'm still evaluating. [It's a] short week. [We've] got a day less to kind of evaluate everything, but I'm going to do everything I can to make it to the game," Hamilton said. The 22-year-old was injured in the Monday night win over the San Francisco 49ers but returned to a limited practice on Thursday after managing no activity on Wednesday. How much he's able to do in practice on Friday could go a long way to determining whether he plays in Week 17. Losing Hamilton against the league's highest-scoring offense would this weekend would be a big blow to Baltimore's secondary. Hamilton is also extremely valuable in IDP fantasy leagues, as he's currently the No. 5 defensive back in total points through 15 games.

Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton (knee) exited during the second half of Monday's game against the Baltimore Ravens. He is officially doubtful to return. The initial fear is that Hamilton suffered a severe injury, but the team will conduct a series of tests before announcing any sort of diagnosis. At the time of his departure, he had totaled five tackles and five interceptions. Look for Daryl Worley to earn more snaps at strong safety for the duration of Hamilton's absence.

Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton (knee) suffered a sprained MCL in the Week 14 win over the Los Angeles Rams. The second-year pro exited the game in the second half after posting seven tackles and is now considered week-to-week, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. This is a significant loss for Baltimore heading into a Week 15 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He has been playing great football this year, totaling 69 tackles, three sacks, one forced fumble, and two interceptions (one returned for a touchdown). In his absence, Daryl Worley will see more action next to Marcus Williams in the secondary.

Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton (knee) is questionable to return to Sunday's Week 14 game against the Los Angeles Rams after suffering a knee injury. Hamilton injured his knee during the second quarter and went to the locker room. It would be a big loss to the Ravens' secondary if he's unable to return to the game. The Ravens should provide an update on Hamilton's status soon.
Dec 10, 2023 1:48 PM EST
Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton made eight tackles and a pick-six in the Ravens' 31-33 loss to the Cleveland Browns in Week 10. Hamilton was expected to be a second-year breakout, and he hasn't disappointed. He has scored double-digit Rotoballer IDP fantasy points in five of ten games, including three of the past four. He ranks tenth amongst defensive backs in total tackles. When he does make impact plays, he flashes as one of the best IDP plays of a week. When he doesn't make a sack or an interception, he still usually makes enough tackles to keep his managers in their games.

He started out the 2023 season slowly, only making seven combined tackles in the first two weeks, but he finished Week 3 as the No. 1 IDP scorer, racking up 47 points in RotoBaller IDP Standard scoring.
