Drafting from the 1st spot in a 12 team PPR draft this year is both a gift and a curse, where you lock in an elite running back (most likely Christian McCaffrey) and you still have several fantastic options that come around at the 2.12/3.01 turn. The catch? There is a ton of time between the later rounds. Do you start your draft RB-WR-WR? Triple running back start? What about RB-WR-TE? There are a ton of draft strategies you can employ with the 1st overall selection but you will have to make certain tough choices at pivotal points in the draft to avoid runs.
