Round 1

Best Pick – Alvin Kamara – Pick 1.06

In a half-PPR league, a target is still worth more than a carry, and Kamara has unnecessarily fallen out of the top five picks in this mock draft. While he’s not considered a “bell-cow” RB, Kamara is a miniature Christian McCaffrey - he’s given a handful of carries per game and his efficiency and production in the passing game are one of the best in the league. Last season he finished as the RB12 in half-PPR leagues where he had 797 yards and 5 touchdowns on the ground while adding on 533 yards and 1 touchdown through the receiving game. This production was a downtick compared to 2018 (1,592 yards and 14 touchdowns), which goes to show how high his ceiling is. I expect his number of touchdowns to increase with an uptick in production if he can stay healthy for a full season, which makes him a no brainer with the 6th overall pick.
