Cooper Kupp, WR, Los Angeles Rams Cooper Kupp’s fantasy dominance came to a halt on Sunday when he was held to negative yardage on three catches in his first game of the year without Matthew Stafford. To make matters worse, Kupp suffered a nasty-looking ankle injury and was immediately declared out and unable to return to the game. Kupp underwent an MRI which confirmed he suffered a high-ankle sprain, with several reports confirming that the injury “doesn’t look good.” This comes after initial tests for Kupp ruled out a worst-case scenario and no fracture occurred, however, Kupp will have a minor surgery completed to hopefully get him back onto the field at season’s end, but for now, he is placed on the injured reserve. Kupp is likely to miss 6-8 weeks and it would not be surprising if the Rams shut him down for the remainder of the year. For fantasy purposes, you can throw him on your IR, but realistically, he’s probably not going to be in your lineup again for this fantasy season.
