Arizona Cardinals running back Bam Knight has operated as the team's lead back over the past three games, recording 34 carries for 118 yards and a touchdown and adding six receptions (eight targets) for 47 yards. Knight has played 104 total snaps since Week 6, with the next closest Cardinals running back being Michael Carter at 57, but he didn't record a single snap in their Week 9 win over the Dallas Cowboys. The 25-year-old Knight was out-gained by Emari Demercado in that game, but saw a season high in snap share of 56.9% to Demercado's 40%. It looks like Arizona is trending toward becoming a split two-man backfield between Knight and Demercado, but nothing is set in stone. Head coach Jonathan Gannon has been tight-lipped about how they will distribute the running back touches week to week, but Knight should again be expected to lead Arizona's backfield on early downs in a tough Week 10 matchup against a Seahawks defense that is allowing a league-best 3.5 yards per carry.

Arizona Cardinals running back Bam Knight was named the starter for their Week 9 contest against the Dallas Cowboys, which gives him a juicy matchup to work with. The third-year pro has been upping his yards per carry in each appearance this season and finished Week 7 with his best game yet before the bye. Fortunately for Knight and fantasy managers with him on their roster, he takes on a defense that's ranked 31st against opposing backfields this season. The Cowboys are allowing 28.36 fantasy points per game to the position, and Emari Demercado doesn't seem like much of a threat to take away too many carries. Knight is projected as a low-end RB2 in this matchup, which makes him startable in most leagues.

Arizona Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon said on Saturday that running back Bam Knight will be the "first one out there" on Monday night against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 9 at RB, but the work will likely go to whichever back is most effective, per Darren Urban of AZCardinals.com. Knight will be battling for lead-back duties with Michael Carter, who got work in with the first-team offense at practice this week and will rejoin the active 53-man roster. Meanwhile, Emari Demercado (ankle) will be active after missing Week 7 with an ankle injury. Knight has operated as Arizona's primary back over Carter the last two games, receiving 25 combined carries for 91 yards (3.6 yards per tote) and a touchdown while adding four catches for 27 yards receiving. He will be the "starter" on Monday, but he might need to perform to hold off Carter. Knight is shaping up as a shaky low-end RB2/high-end RB3/flex option in a good matchup against Dallas this week.

Arizona Cardinals running back Bam Knight appears to have a clear runway to be his team's lead back in a favorable Week 9 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. Cardinals running back Trey Benson (knee) will be on Injured Reserve for at least one more game, and the team released veteran back Michael Carter earlier this week. Before Arizona's Week 8 bye, Knight had recorded 118 scrimmage yards and a touchdown on 29 touches across his last two games. He'll likely split backfield snaps to some degree with Emari Demercado in Week 9, but Knight profiles as the early-down and goal-line back. The Cowboys have allowed the third-most rushing yards (1,168) in the NFL this season. Knight should be viewed as a low-end fantasy RB2 heading into Week 9.

Prior to his team's Week 8 bye, Arizona Cardinals running back Bam Knight had emerged as the team's lead back. Across two games in Weeks 6 and 7, Knight recorded 118 scrimmage yards and a touchdown on 29 total touches. The Cardinals will be without running back Trey Benson (knee) for at least one more week, as Benson has missed three games since being placed on Injured Reserve with a knee injury. Additionally, Arizona has a very favorable matchup in Week 9 against the Dallas Cowboys, who are currently allowing opponents to score an average of 31.3 points per game. In shallower fantasy leagues where Knight may have been dropped during his bye week, managers should prioritize adding him off the waiver wire heading into Week 9.

Arizona Cardinals running back Michael Carter took over RB1 duties in the backfield in Week 5 in the first game without Trey Benson (knee), but since then, it's been Bam Knight leading the way. For a second straight contest in the Week 7 loss to the visiting Green Bay Packers on Sunday, Knight was the Cardinals' clear backfield leader, handling 14 carries for 57 yards while also catching three of his four targets for seven yards. Carter, meanwhile, had seven carries for only 11 yards and caught caught both of his targets for 25 yards through the air. The 24-year-old Knight now has 25 rushing attempts for 91 yards and a touchdown while adding four catches (six targets) for 27 yards as a pass-catcher the last two weeks as the team's preferred choice out of the backield. Arizona has a bye in Week 8, but Knight should be the Cardinals' RB1 for at least another game in Week 9 against the Dallas Cowboys with Benson on Injured Reserve.

Arizona Cardinals running back Bam Knight was dealing with a knee injury earlier in the week, but was a full participant in Thursday and Friday's practice, so he's good to go. In their Week 6 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, Knight saw a 51% snap share and finished as a high-end RB2 in half-PPR leagues. With Emari Demercado (ankle) ruled out for the Week 7 game against the Green Bay Packers, Knight is set to share the backfield with Michael Carter again. While he is a worthwhile waiver add if available, his fantasy output will likely be very volatile. The Cardinals seem to be going with the hot hand approach between the two backs, which gives Knight a low-end flex value in deeper leagues.

Arizona Cardinals running back Bam Knight (knee) was upgraded to a full practice participant on Thursday after he was listed as limited in Wednesday's practice, according to Tyler Drake of Arizona Sports. Knight was surprisingly Arizona's backfield leader in the Week 6 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, but he came out of that game a little banged up. However, his return to a full practice on Thursday puts him on track to play this Sunday versus the visiting Green Bay Packers. Knight played 37 offensive snaps on Sunday and had 12 touches for 54 scrimmage yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, Michael Carter played 32 snaps, had 11 touches, and totaled 64 scrimmage yards. The 24-year-old Knight is worth a waiver-wire pickup if he's still available in your league, but the Cardinals could go with the hot hand moving forward with Trey Benson (knee) on Injured Reserve. At best, Knight is setting up as a touchdown-dependent RB3/flex this week against Green Bay.

Coming off 54 total yards and a touchdown last week, Arizona Cardinals running back Bam Knight (knee) looks to be a continued part of the team's backfield in the absence of its top two running backs. James Conner (ankle) is out for the year and Trey Benson (knee) isn't eligible to return until Week 10, giving Knight some low-end roster appeal while splitting carries with Michael Carter. Both backs drew exactly 11 carries last week against Indianapolis, a split workload that seems likely as long as Benson is unavailable. Knight was limited in Wednesday's practice, however, which managers will want to monitor as game day gets closer.

Arizona Cardinals running back Bam Knight (knee) was limited in Wednesday's walk-through, according to the team. Knight handled 11 carries for 34 yards and a touchdown last week against Indianapolis and apparently banged up his knee at some point. He essentially split touches with Michael Carter, who had 13 touches. It looks like both Carter and Knight will handle the bulk of the running back touches moving forward, which creates a messy situation for fantasy. They also have a tough Week 7 matchup against a stingy Green Bay defense. Knight will likely rank in the low-end RB3 territory for Sunday.

Late Sunday morning, it was announced that Arizona Cardinals' running back Bam Knight was bumped up to the top of the Cardinals' depth chart at running back, and he responded with 34 yards on 11 carries and scored a one-yard touchdown in the Cardinals' 31-27 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Knight also contributed through the air, hauling in one of his two targets for a 20-yard reception. Meanwhile, Michael Carter had a very similar line, rushing for 34 yards on 11 carries and had two receptions for 30 yards. Emari Demercado was barely involved, seeing only one carry on the afternoon. All of this to say, it appears that the Cardinals have no interest in giving Carter the full reins of this backfield, and moving forward, both Knight and Carter will provide RB3 value, and fantasy managers should expect them both to see 10-15 touches per game. The Cardinals have a tough matchup coming up against the Green Bay Packers before their Week 8 bye. Fantasy managers beware, Trey Benson (knee) is eligible to return in Week 10 and will likely become the lead back once he returns.

Arizona Cardinals running back Bam Knight saved his best game for last in the preseason victory over the Las Vegas Raiders on Saturday. The 24-year-old led all rushers in yards and touchdowns after he registered 83 yards on five carries and a big 67-yard touchdown run. Knight was able to find a hole right up the middle and break away from the Raiders' defense at the end of the third quarter. There hasn't been any official word on the depth chart yet, but Knight could have put plenty of pressure on Emari Demercado and DeeJay Dallas for the final RB spot.

The New York Jets are signing Zonovan Knight to the practice squad, according to NFL Insider Tom Pelissero. "Bam" Knight was signed by New York as an undrafted free agent out of the 2022 NFL Draft class and rushed 85 times for 300 yards and a touchdown as a rookie with the organization. He spent last season with the Detroit Lions but has not been with a team in 2024. With Breece Hall and Braelon Allen healthy heading into Week 13, this is probably a mere depth signing and can be ignored for fantasy football purposes.
