Cam Akers – Running Back – Los Angeles Rams (53% owned) Cam Akers is seemingly being given the chance to show his achilles tear won’t hinder his future output. This comes after a very iffy status with the Rams and potentially being traded before the deadline. Instead, the Rams released Darrell Henderson and decided to give Akers another chance. He led the backfield on Sunday against the Seahawks, rushing 17 times for 60 yards and two touchdowns. Now obviously he isn’t very efficient, especially in an offense that is basically playing backups, but the opportunity alone warrants being rostered as you enter your fantasy playoffs. The Rams take on the Raiders and Packers in the next two weeks, both teams that should allow big rushing stats. FAAB: $20
