Tyler Allgeier – Running Back – Atlanta Falcons (17% owned) Rookie Tyler Allgeier finally appears to be in line for a starting role in the NFL, but it took two injuries to get here. Cordarrelle Patterson was placed on IR with a knee injury, leaving only Allgeier and Caleb Huntley as the healthy Running Backs. Allgeier rushed 10 times for 84 yards and caught one pass for 20 yards in Sunday’s victory over the Browns. Both Allgeier and Huntley performed well on Sunday, so this backfield is headed for a competition over the next few weeks. Allgeier should see the first crack at the starting role since he is the higher draft capital, but he does face some stiff opposing defenses the next few weeks with games against Tampa Bay and San Francisco. Still, Patterson is out at least four weeks so Allgeier is a great pickup as a potential starting Running Back. FAAB: $25
