1. Gardiner Minshew, QB (Jacksonville Jaguars)
Minshew has impressed in back-to-back weeks and now squares off against the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football in a game where the Jags are 2.5-point favorites. Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Dolphins will keep this game competitive enough where Minshew will need to keep slinging the ball throughout and it's a game I could see going over the expected total of 48 points due to how bad both defenses are. Minshew has a 9% touchdown rate through two games which will regress over time, but Miami allowed 2 rushing touchdowns to Cam Newton in Week 1 and 4 touchdowns through the air to Josh Allen in Week 2. On the year, the Dolphins are giving up 30.1 fantasy points to opposing QBs. While I don’t expect Minshew to eclipse 30 fantasy points, he should be good for north of 20 fantasy points with a handful of rushes and a few touchdown passes.
