Although this marked his fifth consecutive game surpassing 200 passing yards, the veteran's performance was modest for fantasy purposes. This matchup was expected to be high-scoring, but Pittsburgh's defense stepped up after allowing 30-plus points in back-to-back weeks. With the Steelers leading 24-7 early in the fourth quarter, Rodgers didn't need to do much to close things out. He'll provide more fantasy value in tighter contests, though predicting when those will come could be challenging. The 41-year-old remains a high-floor QB2 in superflex leagues ahead of a Week 10 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Mac Jones improved his record to 5-2 as a starter after leading the team to a 34-24 win over the New York Giants in Week 9. Jones completed all of his first 14 pass attempts and finished 19-for-24 for 235 yards and two touchdowns in the win. If and when Brock Purdy (toe) is healthy enough to resume playing, Jones will head back to the bench. Head coach Kyle Shanahan has labeled the 49ers as "Brock's team," per the AP's Josh Dubow. Whoever is under center in San Francisco's upcoming meeting with the Rams will put fantasy football managers in a tough spot. Jones diced up Los Angeles in Week 5 for 342 yards and two touchdowns, but in their three games since, the Rams have averaged 204 passing yards allowed and registered 12 sacks and two interceptions.
