A.J. Brown Has Quiet Night Against Minnesota

Friday, September 15, 9:48 AM

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown caught 4-of-6 targets for 29 yards during the team's 34-28 win over the Minnesota Vikings. Philadelphia dominated this game on the ground and had just over 60% of their total passing yards come from two deep receptions by DeVonta Smith. This left little opportunity for any other Eagles' pass catcher, causing Brown to become visibly upset on the sideline and voice his frustration. Quarterback Jalen Hurts looked his way multiple times on the next drive after this and even hit the 26-year-old for a touchdown, but it was called back due to a holding penalty on Rashaad Penny. Fantasy managers do not need to worry about Brown moving forward, and he should get the squeaky wheel treatment in the team's next matchup against Tampa Bay.

Amon-Ra St. Brown Logs DNP On Wednesday

Wednesday, September 20, 2:06 PM

Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown (toe) is not practicing on Wednesday and was deemed "day-to-day" by head coach Dan Campbell. The third-year receiver briefly exited the game against the Seattle Seahawks last week, but returned in short order. It's too early in the week to know if the ailment will keep him out of the Week 3 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons, but fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status. St. Brown has 12 receptions for 173 yards and a touchdown through two weeks and continues to be a must-start fantasy wideout.
