Anthony Richardson Sr. News
Sunday, August 16, 4:59 PM
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. appears increasingly likely to remain with the team for the 2026 season, despite the fact that he recently requested a trade. According to Stephen Holder of ESPN.com, Colts assistant general manager Ed Dodds hinted that the former first-round pick will remain in Indianapolis to provide the team with depth. "We want to have three [quarterbacks] that can play," Dodds said. "So, if [ Richardson] is one of them, he's going to be here. ... Look at last year. You never know." Dodds, of course, was referencing the injury to Daniel Jones (Achilles) last season that required the Colts to play Philip Rivers and Riley Leonard. After Jones went down, the Colts dropped from 8-4 to 8-9. They lost five in a row, falling out of a playoff spot. Richardson has not lived up to expectations since entering the league, but he's arguably still capable of playing mediocre football to keep the Colts' playoff hopes alive in the event that Jones suffers another significant injury in 2026.

Cade Klubnik News
Saturday, August 8, 6:49 AM
With the New York Jets holding an intrasquad scrimmage on Saturday, rookie quarterback Cade Klubnik looked sharp in simulated game action, leading a 50-yard touchdown drive against a unit made up mostly of Jets starting defenders. Klubnik connected with Jamaal Pritchett on a high fade into the corner of the end zone for a 14-yard touchdown, according to ESPN's Rick Cimini, adding a highlight to what has been reported as an up-and-down training camp. The Jets spent a fourth-round pick on the former five-star recruit, and in a battle with Brady Cook and Bailey Zappe for the backup job behind 35-year-old Geno Smith, his appeal is evident in dynasty leagues, particularly should things go south for the Jets in 2026 and the team wants to see him in a starting role. At RotoBaller's dynasty QB46, Klubnik is not a player who needs to be actively targeted, but for managers who landed him in rookie drafts, he's a worthwhile stash.
