Anthony Richardson Sr. Can be Dropped in Most Dynasty Leagues

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. remains firmly entrenched in the backup role, keeping him off the fantasy radar, even in dynasty leagues. There was plenty of trade chatter surrounding Richardson during the offseason, but the Colts ultimately kept him to back up Daniel Jones. That would seem to indicate that none of the other 31 teams felt like Richardson was worth acquiring, and that should continue as long as he remains off the field without opportunities to boost his trade value. As it stands, the only real path to production for Richardson would be an injury to Jones, but even in that scenario, Richardson would likely rank outside the top 24 fantasy quarterbacks. The 24-year-old has a career 21-17 touchdown-to-turnover ratio, including 12 interceptions across 11 games in 2024. He can be dropped to waivers in most dynasty leagues.

Bucs Planning for Jalon Daniels to Make Another Start

Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles said on Monday that quarterback Baker Mayfield (thumb) will return to practice on Wednesday, but that the team will plan as if rookie Jalon Daniels will start again in Week 7 on the road against the division-rival Carolina Panthers, according to Greg Auman of FOX Sports. Daniels, an undrafted free agent from Kansas, has now played in four games (three starts) in 2026 in his first year in the NFL, going 60-for-98 passing (61.2%) for 501 yards, three touchdowns, and five interceptions while adding 20 carries for 126 yards on the ground. He has yet to throw for over 200 yards in any of his three starts or have multiple touchdown passes, and if Mayfield does enough in practice this week, he could return to backup duties on Sunday against Carolina. If Daniels makes a fourth straight start this weekend, he will continue to be a low-upside, short-term QB2 option in superflex fantasy leagues.
