Antonio Brown Flees Country Following Attempted Murder Charge

Sunday, June 22, 3:14 PM

Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio reports that former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown has fled the United States while evading a warrant for an attempted murder charge. The incident stems from a shooting outside a celebrity boxing event in Miami on May 16, in which he claimed he was the victim of an assault. However, it's alleged that Brown "punched a man during a brawl, then grabbed a firearm from a security officer and fired two shots as he chased the same individual." Anything the former wideout says at this point must be taken with a grain of salt. However, if he's being truthful, the warrant for his arrest won't be resolved anytime soon.

Curtis Samuel Scores Touchdown As Bills Fall Short

Monday, January 27, 2:23 AM

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Curtis Samuel caught a four-yard touchdown pass during Sunday's AFC Championship loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Samuel's score came on his only reception, but he did have three total targets in the contest. The veteran occupied a depth role throughout the 2024 season, routinely operating behind players like Khalil Shakir, Amari Cooper, Keon Coleman, and Mack Hollins. He's under contract with Buffalo through 2026, but he could face some additional competition next year if the Bills pursue a wide receiver addition during free agency or the NFL Draft. As it stands, Samuel can be avoided in most fantasy football leagues.
