With quarterback Dillon Gabriel (concussion) sidelined by a concussion, Zappe will serve as Cleveland's QB2 in Week 12 behind rookie Shedeur Sanders. Across 15 career NFL games (nine starts), Zappe has completed 62.1% of his pass attempts for 2,223 yards, 12 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions. He last appeared in an NFL game with Cleveland in 2024. Gabriel is not expected to face an extended absence, so Zappe's time on the active roster could be limited to one week.

The Arizona Cardinals signed quarterback Kedon Slovis off of the practice squad on Saturday. The 24-year-old has bounced around the league, suiting up for various practice squads in the last few years. While the signing won't directly impact fantasy managers, it could mean that Kyler Murray (foot), who is still questionable, won't be out there in Week 6 versus the Indianapolis Colts. However, it's still too early to speculate. If Murray ends up suiting up on Sunday, Slovis may still stick around as an emergency quarterback. On the other hand, Jacoby Brissett is in line to start if Murray gets ruled out. Either way, Slovis isn't worth adding to any fantasy roster.
