Who Should I Start? Brenton Strange or Colston Loveland

After being placed on the injured reserve with a hip injury suffered in Week 5, Strange has reminded Jacksonville how valuable he is. Despite crowded competition for targets with Brian Thomas Jr. and Jakobi Meyers, Strange has a clear role in this offense and a strong connection with quarterback Trevor Lawrence. The Jaguars host the Indianapolis Colts in Week 14, who have allowed the third-most fantasy points to tight ends this season. Fantasy managers can rely on Strange as a starting option in Week 14, who will look to help the Jaguars to an outright lead in the AFC South.

Chicago Bears rookie tight end Colston Loveland should see an improved target share in Week 14 against the Green Bay Packers. The 2025 first-round pick has stuttered as of late, totaling just 14 receptions for 172 yards and a touchdown in his last four games. Despite his high draft capital and immense upside, veteran Cole Kmet continues to out-snap the rookie, playing 69% of the snaps in Week 14, while Loveland played just 60%. With Rome Odunze (foot) ruled out for Week 14, the Bears could rely on two-TE sets a lot against the Packers, especially with star pass rusher Micah Parsons demanding double-teams. The Packers have allowed the 12th fewest fantasy points to tight ends this season, but this all comes down to whether the Bears can add more passing volume in Week 14.
