Brenton Strange News

Brenton Strange a Worthy Deep-League Add Despite Target Competition

Monday, September 7, 12:47 PM

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange's overall production in 2025 was held down by a hip/quad injury that forced him to miss five games. However, the 25-year-old was a productive player when he was on the field, recording 46 catches for 540 yards and three touchdowns on 60 targets across 12 games. Across seven games after returning from the injury in Week 12, Strange recorded double-digit PPR fantasy points four times. The Jaguars have one of the deeper wide receiver corps in the NFL, which could make it difficult for Strange to see high-volume targets on a consistent basis. Still, Strange is a talented pass-catcher with some breakout potential, especially if Jacksonville suffers a wide receiver injury or two over the course of the season. In deeper league formats, Strange could be worth stashing in a bench spot ahead of Week 1.

Gunnar Helm News

Gunnar Helm Emerging as a Deep League Sleeper

Saturday, September 5, 12:02 PM

Tennessee Titans tight end Gunnar Helm is a name to watch on Draft Day. He is listed as the starting tight end on the Titans' depth chart and is in line for plenty of targets from quarterback Cam Ward in 2026. Helm is currently rostered in just 3% of Yahoo leagues. Based on roster percentages, he is most likely going to be available on your waiver wire, and he is an intriguing stash option in deeper leagues with 14 to 16 teams. Helm, whom the Titans drafted in the fourth round (120th overall) of the 2025 NFL Draft, recorded 44 receptions for 357 yards and two touchdowns as a rookie last season. He currently ranks as RotoBaller's No. 32 tight end. Helm is worth monitoring as the 2026 campaign gets underway.
