Brian Robinson a Viable Flex Option After Scoring in Consecutive Weeks

Saturday, October 10, 7:51 AM

Atlanta Falcons running back Brian Robinson is coming off one of the most productive rushing efforts of his career, logging three touchdowns last week on 14 carries for 62 yards while adding one catch for five additional yards. The fifth-year pro has now scored in consecutive weeks and will try to keep the momentum going in Week 5 in a home matchup against Baltimore. The Ravens have been solid against the run, yielding just 3.9 yards per carry, although they've allowed four scores to RBs through the first four games of the season (tied for fourth-most). In a game that should be close throughout with the Ravens missing key pieces on both sides of the ball, the 6-foot-1 back should see his usual involvement, which means double-digit carries and potential goal-line opportunities. The 27-year-old projects as a low-end RB3 or Flex option this week and remains one of the better handcuffs in the league, worth stashing in the event anything were to happen to Bijan Robinson.

Ollie Gordon II News

Ollie Gordon II a Strong RB3 in Week 5

Saturday, October 10, 5:37 AM

Miami Dolphins running back Ollie Gordon II has stepped up the last two weeks after a season-ending injury to De'Von Achane (knee), and the second-year running back has emerged as a starting option in most leagues. He ran for his team's only touchdown in each of the last two weeks, totaling 41 yards on 17 carries against the Chiefs, followed by a 100-yard performance on nine carries against the Vikings last week. Gordon has also caught multiple passes in each of those two games, despite the passing game struggling under QB Malik Willis. Gordon has played the majority of snaps the last two weeks even though he didn't start, and Jaylen Wright (foot) could be ready for a larger part of the workload if he can play through his questionable tag. Gordon has been much more productive than Wright this season, and he should continue to get enough work to be worth considering as a starter this week at home against Cincinnati. RotoBaller ranks Gordon as the No. 23 RB this week, making him a low-end RB2 option or a very strong RB3 to consider in a FLEX spot. If Wright is ruled out, it would make Gordon an even stronger option in Week 5.
