The Carolina Panthers have signed quarterback Bryce Perkins on Sunday. The Panthers are in need of another quarterback with Andy Dalton (elbow) sidelined right now. Perkins hasn't played in the NFL since the 2022 season with the Los Angeles Rams. The 28-year-old has been lighting it up in the UFL, which earned him another shot in the NFL. Last season, Perkins threw for 1,342 passing yards with nine touchdowns and two interceptions, which earned him the UFL MVP award. Possibly, Perkins can land a bench spot, but he's mainly being brought on as depth while Dalton is injured.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley was recently signed to the active roster, and head coach John Harbaugh revealed that the long-time backup could start if Lamar Jackson (hamstring) gets downgraded from questionable. Huntley has appeared in 21 games for the Ravens across five seasons, with nine of them being starts. As far as backups go, Huntley has been the only one to seemingly make this offense move, and he even made a Pro Bowl in 2022. With that being said, the Chicago Bears have allowed 15 passing touchdowns and forced 11 interceptions this season. Fantasy managers that are forced to start Huntley due to injuries or bye weeks shouldn't expect some sort of huge QB1 performance, but could keep a team afloat if desperately needed.
