Calvin Ridley Officially Sent to Injured Reserve

Tuesday, November 18, 6:35 PM

The Tennessee Titans officially placed wide receiver Calvin Ridley (leg) on season-ending Injured Reserve on Tuesday and signed receiver James Proche II to the active 53-man roster in a corresponding move, according to Jim Wyatt of the team's website. Ridley broke his fibula in Sunday's loss to the Houston Texans and will miss the rest of 2025. In addition to Ridley's injury, rookie wideouts Chimere Dike (chest) and Elic Ayomanor (hamstring) were injured in Week 11 and did not return. It means the Titans' WR corps could be dangerously thin for their Week 12 tilt against the visiting Seattle Seahawks. If Dike and Ayomanor are both unable to play this weekend, it would mean much larger roles for veteran Van Jefferson and Mason Kinsey in the passing game, with tight ends Chig Okonkwo and Gunnar Helm also seeing target boosts.

George Pickens News

George Pickens a High-End Option Against Washington on Christmas

Thursday, December 25, 12:50 AM

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens rebounded last week against the Chargers after a two-game lull entering Week 16. Pickens racked up seven catches for 130 yards and a touchdown on nine targets in Week 16, marking his fifth game with at least 130 receiving yards, tied with Puka Nacua for the most in the league. It's been a tremendous first season in Dallas for the former Pittsburgh Steeler, ranking as the WR4 in PPR points. He gets another opportunity to add to his career highs in various receiving stats on Christmas Day against a porous Washington Commanders defense that has allowed the sixth most PPR points per game to wide receivers. Pickens should be fired up again as a borderline WR1 in Week 17.
