According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, the Cleveland Browns are placing wide receiver Cedric Tillman (hamstring) on the injured reserve. The former third-round pick suffered this injury during their loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday afternoon. As a result, Tillman will miss at least the next four games. In a corresponding move, the Browns signed wide receivers Malachi Corley and Gage Larvadain to the active roster. Through four games, Tillman operated as a starting option in the passing attack and caught 11 passes for 106 yards and two scores. However, with Tillman slated to miss time, fantasy managers should expect veteran Jerry Jeudy to take the lead role in the offense, while rookie Isaiah Bond is expected to see a larger target share.

Cleveland Browns third-year wide receiver Cedric Tillman (hamstring) exited during the second quarter of his team's loss to the Lions on Sunday and is now expected to miss multiple weeks. Through four games, Tillman's 20 targets are the third most on the team, and trail only Jerry Jeudy among wide receivers, and he is the only Cleveland pass-catcher with multiple touchdowns. Rookie wide receiver Isaiah Bond, who led the team in targets and receiving yards on Sunday, is expected to see an increased workload, but Browns quarterback Joe Flacco has not topped 200 passing yards since the team's season-opener against a porous Bengals defense. With Cleveland's offensive line dealing with a rash of injuries and murmurs of a quarterback change coming soon, this is not a passing game in which fantasy managers should currently be looking to invest.
Sep 29, 2025 2:46 PM EST
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman (hamstring) has been ruled out for the remainder of his team's Week 4 matchup against the Detroit Lions due to a hamstring injury. Tillman had one catch for six yards on two targets before getting injured. The 25-year-old is a key piece of the Cleveland passing game. In his absence, Browns wide receivers Jerry Jeudy and Isaiah Bond will likely see an uptick in both playing time and target share.
Sep 28, 2025 2:29 PM EST
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman (hand, hip) practiced fully on Friday after being limited on Wednesday and Thursday. The veteran wide receiver should be good to go for his team's Week 4 road matchup against the Detroit Lions. Tillman has caught both of Joe Flacco's touchdown passes this season, totalling 10 catches for 100 yards thus far. The Lions represent a plus matchup for Tillman as they are allowing the ninth-most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts through three weeks. Tillman is worth a look as a flex option/WR4 in fantasy this weekend.
Sep 26, 2025 4:16 PM EST
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman (hand, hip) logged his second consecutive limited practice session on Thursday while dealing with multiple injuries. Tillman remains as Cleveland's obvious WR2 through three weeks, as he and Jerry Jeudy are the only wideouts to eclipse 100 snaps, boasting 90 more than the next pass-catcher (Isaiah Bond). However, the 25-year-old sustained two injuries in Week 3's 13-10 win against the Green Bay Packers, putting his status for Week 4 in question. Tillman hasn't missed a practice yet, which is a positive sign for his potential designation. Still, he'll likely need to get in a full session before suiting up for their meeting with the hosting Detroit Lions. Bond is the most likely candidate to fill in if Tillman can't go, with teammate Jamari Thrash operating as their third WR. Tight ends David Njoku and Harold Fannin Jr. would also get a boost.

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman (hand, hip) was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday, according to Scott Petrak of the Chronicle-Telegram. The team did not practice on Wednesday, so participation for all players is an estimate. Tillman played 74% of the snaps in their Week 3 win over the Packers, catching all three of his targets for 26 yards. The Browns have trended more towards the run so far, leaning on rookie running back Quinshon Judkins. It isn't the best upside case for the Cleveland pass catchers with Joe Flacco, but it is still early. Tillman will have two more opportunities to practice this week to upgrade his status before Sunday, when he will be looking for a bounce-back performance in Week 4 against Detroit.
Sep 25, 2025 12:20 AM EST
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman is off to a strong start in 2025, having caught seven passes for 74 yards and two touchdowns in two games. He will look to snag a TD pass in a third straight game at home against the Green Bay Packers in Week 3. Tillman might have a slow afternoon, however, against a Green Bay defense that is allowing just the 21st-most fantasy points per game to wideouts. The veteran checks in as a mid-range WR5 heading into Week 3, as he could struggle against a red-hot Packers squad.
Sep 19, 2025 8:17 PM EST
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman continued to show a nose for the end zone in his team's lopsided Week 2 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Tillman was mostly quiet, but he salvaged his afternoon with a fluky 18-yard touchdown grab to finish with a two-catch, 22-yard line in the loss. The veteran wideout has now scored in each of his two games to open the season, as he has carved out fantasy value as a flex/WR4 type in leagues. Tillman will hope to keep it going in a tough Week 3 home matchup against the Green Bay Packers, but fantasy managers might want to temper expectations due to the difficult matchup.
Sep 15, 2025 8:11 PM EST
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman will head on the road to take on the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2. Tillman got his 2025 season off to a quick start as he caught five of his eight targets for 52 yards and a touchdown in a one-point loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1. The third-year wideout now draws a plus matchup against a Baltimore secondary that allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts last season and was shredded through the air by the Buffalo Bills last week. Tillman sets up as a low-end WR3/flex option in fantasy heading into a prime matchup in Week 2.
Sep 12, 2025 9:31 PM EST
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman has low-end starter/flex potential that could be worth a waiver-wire add in deeper PPR formats, especially. The third-year receiver had a nice Week 1 in which he tied for a team-best eight targets with five catches and a touchdown, but his role on the offense is still likely to be secondary over the course of the season. Cleveland's top receiver is still Jerry Jeudy, and the Browns are likely to be near the top of the league in time spent with multiple tight ends on the field due to David Njoku and breakout rookie Harold Fannin Jr. Further, rookie running back Dylan Sampson also had eight targets in Week 1, and Cleveland will be adding running back Quinshon Judkins into the fold at some point, too. Tillman certainly has shown potential, but Cleveland, per usual, is a volatile and unpredictable situation.
Sep 11, 2025 10:06 AM EST
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman caught 5-of-8 targets for 52 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 17-16 loss to their division rival, the Cincinnati Bengals. The University of Tennessee product tied rookie running back Dylan Sampson and fellow wideout Jerry Jeudy for the second-most targets on the team, but arguably was the most productive pass-catcher, scoring their lone touchdown through the air. Tillman displayed his explosiveness for a brief stretch mid-way through last season before a concussion forced him to miss Weeks 13-18. While Joe Flacco's days as Cleveland's starter are all but numbered, the 25-year-old should be a viable fantasy asset with him at the helm. The Browns will get a stiff test next Sunday when the Baltimore Ravens come to town.
Sep 8, 2025 12:24 PM EST
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman will open up the 2025 season with a home matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1. Tillman had a very productive three-game stretch from Weeks 7 through 9 of the 2024 season before a concussion in Week 12 ended his year early. The third-year wide receiver is fully recovered and is ready to slot in as the team's No. 2 wideout opposite Jerry Jeudy this year. Tillman sets up as a solid flex option in fantasy as a dart throw in deeper leagues heading into the opening weekend of NFL action.

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman (thumb) was back at practice on Tuesday, according to Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram. Tillman is back on the field after missing almost a full week with a minor thumb injury. Now that the 25-year-old is back at practice, he should be good to go for the Week 1 regular-season opener on Sunday, Sept. 7, against the division-rival Cincinnati Bengals. And with limited help in the receiver room behind Jerry Jeudy, Tillman figures to operate as Cleveland's WR2 to begin the season. It might not amount to much in terms of consistent weekly production with veteran quarterback Joe Flacco leading the offense, though, and RotoBaller currently has Tillman ranked as the WR63. Tillman's 2024 was cut short due to injury, and he finished with a 29-339-3 line in 11 games (six starts).
Aug 26, 2025 7:06 PM EST
Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said that wide receiver Cedric Tillman (thumb) is dealing with a thumb injury. Stefanski said Tillman's injury is not serious, so he should be in play to suit up for Week 1 of the regular seaon on Sunday, Sept. 7, versus the division-rival Cincinnati Bengals. The 25-year-old was held out of the second preseason game last weekend as a precaution. When healthy, Tillman is expected to serve as the No. 2 wideout behind Jerry Jeudy, although it's not expected to be a fruitful fantasy role with veteran quarterback Joe Flacco running the offense. Behind Tillman, Jamari Thash, Diontae Johnson, DeAndre Carter, Kaden Davis and rookie Isaiah Bond are competing for depth roles. Tillman played in only 11 games in 2024 due to injury and finished with 29 receptions, 339 yards and three touchdowns in his second year in the NFL.
Aug 20, 2025 5:23 PM EST
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman caught his lone target for an 18-yard gain in a 22-13 preseason win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday. Tillman got the start and played for a short time after he did not suit up for the team's preseason opener against the Carolina Panthers last week. The third-year wideout hauled in his lone target on the Browns' second drive of the game. Tillman had some big weeks late in the 2024 season before a concussion ended his year early, but he still holds plenty of fantasy value as a sleeper in a Cleveland receiver room that is wide open behind Jerry Jeudy. He's worth a look as a dart throw WR6 late in fantasy drafts later this summer.
Aug 17, 2025 6:59 AM EST
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman (calf) is back at training camp practice on Saturday, according to The Athletic's Zac Jackson. Tillman left practice early on Friday with what appeared to be calf cramping, but he's back in action a day later and shouldn't have any concerns going forward. The 25-year-old former third-rounder (74th overall) in 2023 out of Tennessee came on strong midway through last season when Jameis Winston took over at quarterback, but a concussion cut his season short. Heading into his third year in the NFL, he should be a starter in three-wide sets for Cleveland next to Jerry Jeudy and Diontae Johnson. In his two seasons with the Browns, Tillman has caught 50 of 93 targets for 563 yards and three touchdowns in 25 games (nine starts). He has opportunity, but with either Joe Flacco or Kenny Pickett at QB, Tillman's fantasy upside will be limited.
Jul 26, 2025 1:18 PM EST
According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman (calf) is "believed to be okay" after suffering an injury during Friday's practice. The wideout exited the field after sustaining the injury. Fortunately, it appears he will be fine. The 25-year-old wasn't a consistent producer for the Browns in his first two seasons in the NFL, totaling 50 receptions for 563 yards and three touchdowns. However, Tillman will have a chance to compete for more targets throughout the 2025 campaign. Without question, Jerry Jeudy is the No. 1 receiver in Cleveland. While that potentially leaves the No. 2 spot up for grabs, Tillman has some work to do before surpassing Diontae Johnson on the depth chart.
Jul 25, 2025 11:54 PM EST
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman (calf) went down in the back of the end zone at training camp practice on Thursday and immediately started holding his calf, according to ESPN Cleveland. Trainers were then seen stretching Tillman's calf muscle, which could mean that Tillman was just cramping due to the heat. Although this could turn out to be just a minor injury, the Browns really can't afford to lose any more wideouts early in camp, as both David Bell (hip) and Michael Woods II (hand) are also sidelined in the early going. The 25-year-old Tillman will be given every chance to serve as the WR2 behind Jerry Jeudy in 2025 after come on strong near the end of last season before suffering a concussion in the final month. The Browns also have Diontae Johnson now, though, and Tillman is going to need to prove it. It may be difficult with Joe Flacco projected to start at QB.
Jul 25, 2025 5:05 PM EST
The Athletic's Zac Jackson writes that the Cleveland Browns are banking on wide receiver Cedric Tillman building on his big stretch in the middle of last season since they didn't draft a receiver and only added Diontae Johnson in free agency. Jackson adds that Tillman should be in for a full-time role in 2025 and could complement WR1 Jerry Jeudy in an offense that could incorporate a lot of deep passes if veteran Joe Flacco wins the quarterback job. The advantage that Tillman has is his size (6-foot-3, 215 pounds), and he scored his first three NFL touchdowns in October and November of last year. Although he missed the last six games of 2024 with a concussion, he's still viewed as an ascending player and has two years left on his rookie deal. Even with more opportunity, Tillman will likely be viewed as a WR5/6 target in deeper fantasy formats for receiver depth.
Jun 28, 2025 11:22 AM EST
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman (concussion) was taking part in voluntary organized team activities and was running with the first-team offense on Wednesday, according to The Cleveland Plain Dealer's Dan Labbe. It's a good sign for Tillman after he finished last season on Injured Reserve and missed the final six games due to a lingering concussion. The 25-year-old former third-rounder (74th overall) in 2023 out of Tennessee showed improvement in Year 2 before his head injury, catching 29 of 49 targets for 339 yards and his first three NFL touchdowns in 11 games (six starts). While Diontae Johnson could have something to say about it, Tillman is currently position well for WR2 duties in 2025 behind Jerry Jeudy, although Cleveland's uncertain quarterback situation doesn't exactly bode well for Tillman's chances to make an impact in fantasy.
