Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin has surprisingly been off to a slow start to begin the season. Through two games, Godwin has 10 receptions for 109 yards and zero touchdowns. Right now, Godwin has been mainly a short yardage passing option, while Mike Evans is getting the deep balls. Despite his slow start, Godwin has the skills and potential to be a reliable contributor. However, he'll draw a tough matchup versus the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3. Oddly, the Eagles have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to wideouts this season. The expectation is that superstar defensive back Darius Slay will be on Evans this week. That means, Godwin will have an easier matchup which should lead to more success. That being said, Godwin is probably more of a WR3, but has WR2 upside for this matchup.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught five of his six targets for 34 yards in Sunday's win over the Detroit Lions. The rookie had some extra time in two receiver sets with DK Metcalf missing most of the first half due to injury. When Metcalf and Tyler Lockett are both healthy, though, Smith-Njigba will be relegated to three receiver sets. That playing time opportunity will be reduced if Seattle continues to utilize two and three tight end sets to shore up their battered and inexperienced offensive line, as they did in Week 2. Smith-Njigba should remain on fantasy benches until he is played more frequently.
