However, in the game between, McCaffrey put up his worst numbers of the year in a slog against the Houston Texans. On Sunday, McCaffrey again faces another tough opponent in the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams have allowed the fewest fantasy points per game to opposing running backs, the sixth-fewest rushing yards, and have yet to give up a touchdown on the ground to the position. When the teams met in Week 5, McCaffrey had just 2.6 yards per carry but logged an 8-82-1 line as a receiver. Despite the difficult matchup, McCaffrey's talent makes him a weekly contender to finish as a top-12 back, and he should be locked into fantasy lineups this weekend.

The 26-year-old missed his first game of the season in Chicago's Week 9 win at Cincinnati due to the nagging groin injury. In Swift's absence, rookie Kyle Monangai racked up 198 total yards from scrimmage and figures to be a bigger part of the backfield rotation in future weeks, as indicated by head coach Ben Johnson. The plan is for Swift to be active in Week 10, and he gets a great matchup in his return against a Giants defense that has allowed a league-worst 5.5 yards per carry.
